You can increase your liking if you have cross-unit or cross-departmental responsibilities. Also, have to build up this relationship with both supervisor and manager. Showing initiative gets you noticed.

Be an essential even indispensable employee. Use your initiative; never wait to be told what to do recognise what needs to be done and do it. Take on responsibility, even when you are not asked. to
