CV's and job advertisements contained on the site are provided by candidates and by prospective employers and their agents and are not reviewed by us. We accept no responsibility or liability for the contents of CVs or advertisements and expect candidates and prospective employers to carry out such verification procedures as are customary and prudent in the circumstances.
CV Search is the service provided by the Jobyet.co.uk Website which allows recruiters to view, search, purchase and access the Curriculum Vitae ("CV's") of candidates held on the Jobyet.co.uk Website's candidate database via the Jobyet.co.uk Website.
To the extent that you have selected the option that enables the Company to share your Profile Information and CV with recruiters, you consent to the Company sharing your CV, together with any additional Profile Information you provide to the Company, with the recruiters who use the Jobyet.co.uk Website.
Fair Use of candidate database Policy, Company’s fair use policy available a fair-use and as updated by the Company from time to time.
This means that you agree and hereby grant to the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence of any rights, including Intellectual Property Rights, in your CV and any additional Profile Information you provide to the Company on the Jobyet.co.uk Website, to share or otherwise use such CV and additional Profile Information as the Company reasonably requires to fulfil the services the Company provides on the Jobyet.co.uk Website; and 7.2.2. the right to grant a non-exclusive royalty-free, worldwide sub-licence of any rights, including Intellectual Property Rights, in your CV and any additional Profile Information you provide to the Company on the Jobyet.co.uk Website, to recruiters for their recruitment related activities.
The Company will retain a copy of your CV and any additional Profile Information you provide until you delete it or close your account. If you are a registered user, you can also change your privacy settings to set whether your CV is shared with all recruiters, no recruiters or you can select those recruiters that you do not want to share your CV with. Please note that additional recruiters are added all the time so you should check your privacy settings frequently.
You will not do anything which would assist anyone who is not a registered user of the Jobyet.co.uk Website to gain access to it or misuse the Jobyet.co.uk Website or the CV Search service. The content of your CV is accurate, and not misleading in any way.
You will not maliciously create additional accounts for the purpose of abusing the functionality of the Jobyet.co.uk Website or the CV Search service, nor do you seek to pass yourself off as another user.
You will not upload a CV or any other file purporting to be a CV which is not free from infection by viruses or anything else that has contaminating or destructive properties.
For as long as you are a registered user of the Jobyet.co.uk Website and you upload your CV to the Jobyet.co.uk Website, then the Company will provide you with the following additional services:
A facility to allow recruiters who have registered to the Jobyet.co.uk Website (subject to your preferences) to view your CV in relation to jobs that they believe that you may be interested in based on your CV and the other Profile Information you provide using the Jobyet.co.uk Website and CV Search service;
Use of a private, secure area on the Jobyet.co.uk Website where you manage your job preferences, manage your privacy requirements and edit or update your CV as required;
Use of a "public profile" which can be viewed by anyone (unless you choose to hide your CV) and which will be the first section that a recruiter sees. The public profile should set out information such as the role you are interested in, an indication of the salary you are seeking and your preferred job roles and location. Please note that this public profile may be discoverable through search engines. Do not include your name, contact details or any personal information in this section;
The CV match service (subject to your opt-in) which will allow us to use our tools to match your CV, and the preference information you provide, to specifications required by recruiters;
Storage of your CV on the Jobyet.co.uk Website database until such time that you choose to delete it or to close your account with the Company; and
The ability to select an option that will prevent your CV from being viewed by any recruiters. This will keep your CV on the Jobyet.co.uk Website database but will prevent recruiters from viewing it until such time that you decide to allow access to it.
Where you have selected the option that enables the Company to share your Profile Information and CV with recruiters, the Company requests that the recruiters do not hold your CV for longer than is necessary for their recruitment purposes and do not use your CV for purposes other than recruitment related activities.
Where you have selected the option that enables the Company to share your Profile Information and CV with recruiters, the Company requests recruiters to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and handle such information in accordance with Data Protection principles.
Where you choose to delete your details and / or CV the Company will not retain a copy of it on the Jobyet.co.uk Website database and it will not be made available to recruiters. Please note however that the Company is not able to control the storage of your details and / or CVs by recruiters.
If for any reason, the Company believes that you have not complied with these Terms and Conditions or are abusing the CV Search service in any way, the Company may cancel, suspend or otherwise restrict your account access, immediately and without giving you any advance notice.

You understand that all opinions expressed by users of the Jobyet.co.uk Website blogs are expressed strictly in their individual capacities, and not as representatives of the Company or any of the Company's sponsors or partners.
